Burnwell Cannabis – Sadly Out of Business
Seattle Cannabis Co is proud to have carried Burnwell Cannabis, a brand known for combining world-class cannabis with sustainable practices. Sadly, Burnwell and its successor Canasmith are now out of business and will be greatly missed.
Learning About Burnwell Cannabis
Burnwell was born from a passion for high-quality cannabis and a vision for a greener industry. Their craft focused on sustainable cultivation, with custom-engineered, sun-enhanced indoor facilities in the Palouse region of eastern Washington. This innovative approach minimized energy consumption while allowing plants to reach full cannabinoid development, enhancing the taste, aroma, and effects of their flower.
Burnwell cultivated cannabis without harsh chemicals or pesticides, exceeding state requirements with natural growing methods. Recycling and reuse practices were integrated throughout their operations, including water, grow mediums, and eco-friendly packaging like glass jars with cork lids.
Strains such as Grand Hindu, Grape Stomper, Hindu Sour, Candy Jack, and Peaches & Cream were hand-watered, hand-trimmed, and carefully nurtured by their dedicated team. Burnwell also valued fair wages for employees and collaborated with local, like-minded businesses to support the community.
While Burnwell and Canasmith products are no longer available, their legacy of sustainability, craft, and innovation continues to inspire the cannabis industry. Seattle Cannabis Co honors their contributions and the positive impact they had on small business–owned cannabis in Washington.
