About Binx Buds

Mattawa sun-grown cannabis. Light-dep hoop houses, recyclable packaging, an Eastern WA brand.

Binx Buds is a Washington I-502 producer/processor based in Mattawa, in the Columbia Basin agricultural belt. The brand’s defining choice is its cultivation method: light-deprivation hoop houses rather than full indoor rooms or open-field outdoor — a hybrid approach that uses the sun for the bulk of the crop’s light requirement while giving growers control over the flowering trigger via blackout tarps.

The result is a lower-carbon-footprint cultivation pipeline than pure indoor, with greenhouse-style control over harvest timing. Once buds are graded for size and quality, Binx packages them in recyclable bottles — a deliberate departure from the plastic mylar bags that dominate the WA shelf. The catalog runs flower-first across recognizable cuts (Grape Gasoline, OG Kush are on the menu), with pre-roll formats from the same in-house material.

The operation has two Washington locations, and distribution stretches across the state. Customers who reach for Binx Buds tend to be shoppers who care about both growing method and packaging footprint, and budget-conscious flower buyers who want a sun-grown price point without giving up the quality controls that light-dep brings to the season.
