Where the name comes from
Fifty Fold is a Washington producer-processor working out of the central part of the state. The name comes from the idea of exponential improvement, the thought experiment of folding a single piece of paper in half fifty times until something tiny becomes something enormous. It points at compounding the work, batch after batch.
They've been in the legal market here for years, and they grow indoor flower along with a run of concentrates and pre-rolls. Nothing flashy on the packaging. The focus is on what's inside.
What to look for on the menu
When you see Fifty Fold on a shop board, a few things tend to hold true.
The flower is hand-trimmed, and you can usually tell. Tight structure, good trim, jars that aren't packed with stems. Fifty Fold sits at the top-shelf, premium end of the case. It's custom-cured flower from a grower focused on cultivation quality, not on chasing the lowest price.
Strain selection rotates. You'll see classics like GMO and Wedding Cake show up, plus rotating drops that don't stick around long. If you find one you like, grab it, because the next batch on the menu might be something different.
Their pre-rolls are worth a look too. Single grams and multi-packs, packed with the same flower they're jarring, not shake.
Why we carry it
We stock brands we'd actually buy ourselves, and Fifty Fold clears that bar. Consistent grow, honest packaging, and a price that makes sense for the quality in the jar. When a grower keeps their batches steady over time, that tells you something about how they run the operation.
If you've never tried it, ask whoever's working the counter what's open right now. We can pull a jar, talk through the current strains, and tell you what just came in. Lab results and cannabinoid numbers are printed on every package, so you can check the THC and terpene content before you decide.
Fifty Fold isn't the loudest brand in the case. It's one we keep coming back to because the flower backs it up.
